Inclusive adventures for SEND groups

Our SEND programmes focus on safety, comfort and encouragement - creating meaningful experiences for every learner.

Offering accessible and inclusive courses to all

At Ghyll Head, we believe the Lake District should be accessible to everyone. Aimed at people of all ages with sensory, learning or physical disabilities, including those with the most complex needs, you'll find activities for everyone to enjoy.

From kayaking and canoeing to abseiling and zip wires, we offer activities on and off-site for children of all abilities and facilities that most outdoor centres cannot offer.

We adapt activities to meet the individual needs of all participants, ensuring that everyone can fully engage and benefit from the experience. You'll find a team of qualified instructors highly-experienced with SEND groups and accessible facilities that enable all students to participate fully.

Don't just take our word for it, check out the following review on Euan's Guide and Approved Centre for Manchester SEND families. The Centre is also affiliated to the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
